In Ulu Yam Baru, there is a beautiful waterfall known as Sungai Sendat. The waterfall is accessible from the Genting Highlands, and it features a massive cataract that gushes across three tiers. Many visitors come here to hike and camp near the waterfall, and the area is part of a forest reserve with attractive gazebos and picnic sites.

The Selangor State Forestry Department manages Hutan Lipur Sungai Sendat, which is also known as Hutan Lipur Sungai Sendat. Camping, picnicking, grilling, and bathing in the clear cool water of natural river pools and cascades under the tall tropical rainforest trees are among the activities and facilities available.
